Islabank Farmhouse and Osprey Cottage are set on the Ivory family's 2,000 acre farm in the stunning Vale of Strathmore. Lovingly renovated to a very high standard both properties provide a 'home from home' experience and are cosy, spacious and welcoming with enclosed gardens that are perfect for children and dogs.
Set four miles apart, and immersed in beautiful farmland and fruit growing countryside, the surrounding area makes an excellent choice for relaxing breaks in the heart of rural Perthshire. The location epitomises country life with an abundance of wildlife, including red squirrels, herds of deer, nesting ospreys and of course, our own herds of beef and pedigree cattle. Both cottages have wonderful walking from the doorstep and are in easy reach of the beautiful Angus Glens.
The estate provides the ideal base for exploring central Scotland, Perth, St Andrews and the Highlands, are all within easy reach. There are many stately homes, castles and gardens to visit with Glamis Castle (the childhood home of the Queen Mother and the setting for Shakespeare's 'Macbeth') being a short 10 minute drive away. Outdoor activities available locally include golf, skiing, horse riding and cycling. For the more adventurous, activities such as white water rafting, quad biking, 4x4 and clay pigeon shooting are also available near by.
